From afelia blog; includes some extra stuff about bras...
My Day

Woke at 6am to alarm. Set it to 6.20am and went back to sleep. Tossed and turned for 14 minutes then got up. Remembered to un-set the alarm.

No one was up so I couldn't wring some money out of mom. Oh well... Ate some breakfast including Nescafe Frothe Mocha!!! IT ROCKS!!! Stuffed some stuff into my bag including my aLove Songs and Sonnets book (this is where I'm foreshadowing things that would happen later in the day, of course). Off I went to school for the (not counted) Econs MCQ.

Waited for Bus 12. Got on Bus 12. And saw ("ta-dah!") snowgal!!! Yaaaahhhh! We sit on the same bus again! I was listening to some choral music and reading my library book. Didn't really talk. Walked together into school. Saw KK. Snowgal stopped by the water cooler to refill. I went ahead the the Scope study area to see if any other familiar faces were around. Fournd XZ. Continued reading and listening to music. Snowgal comes. We talk. KK comes along and tells us he watched the 12 midnight show. O.o Riiight... Torrenting is mentioned and I turn to snowgal to tell her I'm d/l-ing Mean Girls (but it's taking a loooooong time too). Econs MCQ about to begin. We leave for LT1.

Walk, walk. Up the stairs. Front entrance locked. Back ones opened. I forgot all about where we're usually supposed to seat but we had XZ coming to our rescue! Teehee! Our school life would be alot more blur (@_@) without her. XZ Banzai! Sit down. Turns to XZ and tell her the horror of realizing it's school again. Arrrrghh... The slow filing in of students reminds me of our usual lecture days. T_T It's back to school (though there's a Youth Day Monday Holiday reprieve for now).

Huey then came in with a new bag. Wooooo baaaaag~! It's kinda nice, black and white. I had a closer look at the words. Huey realizes that the reason why she thought XZ looked weird was because she was wearing glasses today (come to think of it, snowgal also noted this).

The rest of the class comes in. Some confusion about what index number we should use. I think I shaded mine incorrectly (since Denise no longer takes Econs). Oh well... KC who sat beside me, asked KK what index they were. And then there appeared to be some confusion about who came first. I said that, alphabetically-speaking, shouldn't KC be first? But it seems that the confusion was something else... Umm... I think...

Paper started. Unfortunately, we had two teachers with exceptionally annoying voices. Still, there was some hilarity due to that. Also, someone arrived reeeaaaally late and there were twitters around the LT1 crowd. KC dropped his calculator too. I couldn't answer the questions in the beginning and so skipped alot of it. I couldn't figure out most of the questions actually so it got boring. I managed to draw one of B.E.Cs but it looked quite ugly this time. Random scribbling. Returned to work. 15 minutes left. Finished (or guessed at) the initial questions. Laughed at teacher's unintended hilarity due to voice and tone. And what she said, of course. 5 minutes. Stoned away. Teacher announces 2 minutes. Mutterings amongst crowd who wants to get the fuck out of there. Teacher probably senses mood. The papers are handed up.

I whip out my good ole xda to listen to Mozart's Kyrie Eleison (Have Mercy, as I found out later in the day). KK notes that I have alot of Requiem. That was because Gerald sent me those 4 songs (ok, only 3 of which were choir music)... Music blasts and I tune everything else out. Huey and XZ start moving out. I follow. We turn to go to the toilet. I go to IT Room. Boohoo. Sees car *wavewavewave*!!! ^_^ MASS DANCE! (Okok, we didn't dance right then and there... but I sure want to... sigh)... Peeks into the new control room. War3 madness. Sit around waiting for more exco people to come (in my naivety, I thought that at least a few MORE people besides me and the Chair/Vice would be there, sigh). Keyang goes in, goes after him. Asks people who the next chair is. Gets into a weird argument-discussion (???) about why it should be the current vice-chair. Good thing we don't like Johnson. Or at least think alike(?). Well, anyway, it was resolved (geez, at last). Was about to go home. Remembered about teaching new TT webeditor something about uploading files. Took awhile. Year 1s around me were getting their accounts.

Goes to the toilet before going home. Intended to go home anyway. Realized I had a library book on hand and was already taking Bus 12 already. Debated in mind whether to go home first or go straight to White Sands. Ponders. Listens to more choral music. Thinks. Gets sleepy. Too lazy to get off my home's stop. So, in a way, things got decide for me.

There were a lot of NS boys when I got off the bus. The Pulau Tekong bus must have arrived the same time as Bus 12 did. Since I didn't have money, did not see the point of tempting myself with comics. Went straight to library. Borrowed four books: "Feuding Allies" about WWII Allies and all their bickering, a book of French poems, an Angela Carter collection of short stories and "Travels" by Michael Crichton. I went home afterwards.

Went online to search for more choir songs. Surprisingly few. But good old Vatican had a whole page devoted to it. Wheee... Only had a brief listen to the songs. Will take more time with it tomorrow, perhaps. Also set the time and place to meet with darkmoon and dcal. See you both tomorrow.

Went and took out "Feuding Allies" and the French poem book (of course, there were translations, I couldn't read French to save my life). It was interesting for awhile comparing the English and French words. But too many words I don't know. Switched to "Feuding Allies". Engrossing read. Only stopped when mom said that they would be going out and do you want to come along? Well, I went. Brought the book along.

Went to Bugis. I commented to my mom that I didn't have that kind of "you can wear it casually out" short pants and I went to see how it looked on me. Then I tried it on. First two sizes too small. Mom got another size. Juuust right. Wandered around U2 longer. Tried 3 more pieces of clothing (all blue, of course). The ladies' tees was too small and/or the sleeves exposed too much fatty arm. Ugggly. The 3/4 sleeve was much better. Mom commented I now have another one of them.

Walked around looking at bras (my bras are falling apart). Tried a few. C-cup is too big. No B80 for me. Too bad. Anyway, bras are just so bloody expensive. Even the bad ones. And there's too many padded ones. That's one of the reasons why I like sports bras, I suppose. Thongs are really funny. But most bras look quite boring and the same and wasn't any what I would like so we left.

We then walked around, looking at restaurants. My brother came along. We went to see what new moveis there are. Ended up sitting there looking at trailers. Waited for dad to come back from Sim Lim.

Went down to Kino. Disappointingly small collection of comics. Remind me again never to go there again. *Mutters under breath*... I never seem to learn... Dad arrives, went to Lai Lai.

Walks to MRT to leave. But at last minute, Dad says ok, let's watch a movie. Brother didn't want to. Mom and I converted him over. But it turns out Spiderman 2's all SOLD OUT. Boohoo. We go home then. MRT terribly, terribly crowded. Bro sees his teacher! I listened to music and read my book on the journey back. Parents go to White Sands to walk around further. My brother and I go home.

Went online. Saw XZ. Wanted to send her nice nice NICE Sarah McLachlan song. Unfortunately, the computer wasn't having a good day. XZ continuously disconnected. Sent by email (yahoo, of course). In the end, XZ could only get "Perfect Girl". Oh well... Saw Wizard sign in shortly after I did. Kithsa said "ashash" and I told him about all the interservice rivalry within the US Army/Navy/etc from my "Feuding Allies" book.

Checked out the usual places. Continued my reading of Bob and George. Chatted with XZ. ^_^ Wrote blog. Still writing blog now.

That was basically my day, I might add an addendum tomorrow, heheh.
